What we hold, why we hold it, and how to get it removed.
What we hold
Your business name, the people you invite, and the messages and invoices you connect to Glo so replies can be drafted.
Why we hold it
To draft replies in your voice, chase your invoices and keep a record of what was sent and when.
Who can see it
Only people you invite to your business. Each business's information is sealed to that business.
How long we keep it
While your account is open. Close the account and we remove it within 30 days.
Getting a copy or removing it
Email us and we will send you a copy of what we hold, or remove it, within 30 days.
Cookies and analytics
Nothing is stored on your device until you accept the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics run at all. If you accept, we use Microsoft Clarity to see how the site is used. It records anonymised session replays and heatmaps covering mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and which pages you visit, and sends them to Microsoft, whose own privacy statement applies. Text typed into forms is masked and not recorded. We use it to find what is broken or confusing, not to work out who you are. We also use Google Analytics to count visits and enquiries, and Google's own privacy policy applies to it.
Measuring our adverts on Facebook and Instagram
If you accept cookies, and on the lawful basis of that consent, we use the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API to see whether our adverts on Facebook and Instagram lead to enquiries. Meta is told which pages you open here, and when you send the contact form, book a meeting, or tap our phone number, email address or WhatsApp link. When you send the contact form or book a meeting, our server also sends Meta your email address, phone number and name in hashed form: a one-way code Meta can only match against the details of its own users, never read. With that, Meta can tell us an enquiry came from an advert, and show our adverts to people more likely to need us. Meta's own privacy policy applies to what it receives. If you decline, Meta is told nothing, from your browser or from our server, and declining later through the cookie settings link stops it and removes Meta's cookies.
Pages you open on this site
Separately from cookies, our own server keeps a short record of each page it serves: the page, the time, the site that linked to it, the type of device, and the town and country the connection appears to come from. It does not store your IP address; in its place it keeps a one-way code made from the address and the browser, which cannot be turned back into either. Nothing is placed on your device for this, and it runs whether or not you accept cookies. We use it to see which pages are read after we have written to a business, on the lawful basis of legitimate interests, and it tells us nothing about who you are unless you are a business we have already written to. The film link in a LinkedIn message from us carries a short code of its own, so a visit through it is tied to the business it was sent to, and the film page, opened through such a link, tells our server how far the film was played and whether Book a demo was clicked. Nothing is placed on your device for that either. Each record is deleted after 90 days.
Changing your mind about cookies
Use the cookie settings link in the footer to change your choice at any time. Decline and nothing further is recorded.
Business contacts we write to
If you have had an email or a LinkedIn message from us about recruitment systems, this is why. Glo Business Solutions (scott@globusinesssolution.com) is the data controller. We hold your name, job title, company and LinkedIn profile, and where we have them your business email address and the job advert that prompted us. It came from public LinkedIn job adverts and profiles, your LinkedIn connection with Scott, Google Maps listings, the Companies House register and the company's own website. We use it for business-to-business direct marketing about recruitment systems, on the lawful basis of legitimate interests. We delete it when you object, or twelve months after we last wrote to you, whichever is sooner. You can object, ask for a copy, or ask for it to be erased at any time: reply to any email or message from us, or write to the address below, and it will be done.
