Built by an owner: Scott Burns, founder of Glo Business Solutions, Henfield, West Sussex

More than ten years of running businesses, and the admin that came with them, is why Glo exists.

Who I am

An owner before a builder

Scott Burns · Founder, Glo Business Solutions

I have owned and run businesses for more than ten years, and I have felt every pressure an owner feels: staff costs climbing, overheads rising, good people underperforming, and the growth you are capable of held back by the cost of simply running the place.

Glo exists because of those years. It does the work that eats an owner's week, the answering, the chasing, the paperwork, so you get your time back for the things that actually grow the business. I built it for my own businesses first. Now it can run yours.

How the work is built

AI drafts, a person approves, the system acts

One pattern runs through everything on this site. The AI does the reading, the drafting and the chasing. A person looks at what it has done and ticks it. Only then does anything leave the building. It is the same rule whichever product you read about, and it is written into each of them.

Drafts the reply in your voice, and nothing sends until you tick it
AI Inbox
Nothing marked as issued until it is approved and your details are complete
Money
Anything it cannot read with confidence is flagged rather than guessed
AI Inbox
…holds every message for approval before it sends
AI Automations

What has been built

Work that is live

Your history comes with you. We have recovered 63,000 records and 130,000 documents from a closing platform in a single migration.

PRS Workforce Compliance. Public site and the operations panel behind it, built as one system.

“I went to Scott for a website. What came out of the first meeting was a list of things we were doing by hand that did not need doing at all. Registrations from the site now go straight into Bullhorn without anyone retyping them, and the jobs board runs off the same connection. It has taken real admin off the team, and none of it was on my list when I walked in.”
Chris Tunnicliffe, Director, Avolon Group, Hove

The build behind that quote is set out in the Avolon Group case study, a recruitment site built for two audiences.

How I work

Built once, owned outright, priced in the open

Everything I build is built once and owned outright. The code and the database belong to you on final payment, and from then on there is no licence, no per-user charge and no monthly platform fee.

Prices are published on this site rather than quoted after a sales meeting. Payment is in two stages, or spread over six or twelve months at the same price. Hosting and any AI usage are billed at cost, with nothing added.

The work is done by me. It is not passed to a junior and it is not offshored.
